Stranded on Merewether Beach by D.B. Tote Bag

About the Art

D.B. loves the beach and will go at every opportunity.  On this day, D.B. had successfully convinced his physiotherapist that a beach session was in order.  After his session, he found a large number of bluebottles washed up on shore, as happens from time to time.  These were the largest bluebottles we have seen and D.B. did not miss the chance to capture their beauty in photographs and some video footage (he would like to start a documentary series on ocean creatures in honor of his cousin whom loved the Jellyfish most of all and in fact, rated the bluebottle best of all).

D.B. has since turned these images into beautiful digital art.  D.B. thinks this captures Merewether Beach beautifully and that being stranded on Merewether Beach wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

After seeing this image, D.B. has been commissioned by Hunter Valley Alchemy, to produce similar images of many of the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Beaches.
